What type of PPE can I wash/decontaminate in the Solo Rescue Decon Washer?
You can either wash complete SCBAs including face masks, face masks separately, helmets, boots or gloves in the Solo Rescue. And with our accessory the Small Parts Holder you can even wash the small parts of your PPE such as disassembled breathing valves and regulators.
How do I operate the Solo Rescue Decon Washer?
The basic principle for operating the Solo Rescue is that you load the Heavy Duty Basket with the PPE you intend to decontaminate. Depending on the type of gear you might need different accessories such as SCBA holder, Gear holder, Helmet holder or Small Parts holder.
Once the machine is loaded, simply choose a wash program by pressing its button on the control panel.
When the wash program has finished, unload the decontaminated gear and leave it to dry in a clean space dedicated for that purpose.
